Sharon Dartt Services, LLC is a family-owned commercial and residential excavating service serving Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. We also offer a variety of trucking/hauling services and sewer repair and installation.


	Sharon Dartt Services, does commerical, industrial and residential projects of all sizes and types including demolition of existing structures, site clearing and disposal, mass grading, hauling services, site preparation for building pads, parking lots and landscaped areas, basement excavation and backfilling, structural excavation, finish grading (with experience in golf courses and ballfields), agricultural field drainage, lagoons, trenching, driveway/roadway construction, installation, lateral expansion and repair of sewer systems and swimming pool construction.


	In 1978, Dartt Services, LLC started with only one dozer, one truck and a lowboy doing farm excavating and drainage projects. Later, a rubber-tired backhoe was added to the business. Shortly after that, a tractor, a scraper, and a sewer truck were added and sewer work began in earnest. In 2000, White County Coal and its Pattiki mine started construction on a new shaft and with that came a lot of excavation experiences. That project needed topsoil excavation on a 10-acre site, constructed building pads, layed water and electrical lines, laid out and and constructed parking lots, hauled and handled excavated material from the new shaft to an off-site location, dug retaining ponds and more. That project was a three-year ongoing project that continues today. In 2003, we started our first wetland project, a 300-acre wildlife conservation wetland. Today, we continue to expand our knowledge of excavation to get the job done right, one time and on budget. Family values continue to dominate Dartt Services as our family has taken active roles in working in the family business as the second generation children become involved.
